Why a Coach?

There are so many choices for coaches.  If you are a person who wants to move quickly through problems, sabotage and trauma, then we are on the same page.

When I look for a coach, I want someone who is going to keep me on task.  They need to be direct and forthright.  I do not want them yelling at me or sitting back and ignoring me.  I want them to be actively engaged as to where I am at, checking in with me to address my needs as to why I may be stuck.  When a coach understands where I am at and we work as a team this is where I excel.  Doing everything alone simply does not work as well as working with a coach and/or team.

I have a coach for marketing, a coach for specific problems that arise whether it be business or personal.  I find I need several coaches as one person alone is not always the best fit for everything.

I am also co-coaching a Toastmaster club.  This is amazing because there is someone else working alongside me.  We also have a team of coaches that we can go to for support and questions.

Coaching does not have to mean it is a one person job.  Anyone who is successful has different coaches for their expertise.  When choosing a coach or coaches, discuss with them what you are looking for.  After all, You are the one who is investing your time and money.

I would love to hear your thoughts on what you are looking for and any experiences with Coaches you have had.

With appreciation.  Susan Faber
